The following are the costumes available to Bass Armstrong in all versions of Dead or Alive 2 (1999-2000), including the DOA2: Hardcore games.

Arcade versionsEdit

In both the original arcade version and the Dead or Alive 2: Millennium update, Bass has a total of two costumes, which are available to him from the start.

Costume 1 - Black leather jacket with metal spikes sticking out of the sleeves, a red shirt, black leather pants, and black shoes. He also wears biker gloves, black sunglasses, a gold chain necklace, a black bandana over the top of his head, metal wristbands and ankle bands, and one large metal leg band over his left thigh.

(Originally his third costume from the PAL PlayStation version of the first Dead or Alive.)

Costume 2 - Cream-colored shirt with the top buttons undone, a brown vest, blue jeans with light brown chaps worn over them, dark brown cowboy boots, and a beige cowboy hat.

He also wears a red neckerchief and brown arm-guards, and has a lasso hanging from his waist.

Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 versionsEdit

For the Dreamcast versions and the Japanese PlayStation 2 version, Bass has two default costumes, and over time gains just two new costumes.

On the Japanese Dreamcast version, there are four ways to get each costume. Two are quick but difficult to do, while the other two take time but are easy to complete. If the player uses the UPS options, the costumes will be saved to the UPS and not the system file. This means that if the system file is copied, the costumes will not be, as the UPS is not transferable.

SYS1: saved to system file, difficult
SYS2: saved to system file, easy

UPS2: saved to UPS file, easy
