The Dragon Sword is the primary weapon of Ryu Hayabusa in the Ninja Gaiden video game series.
It is said that the sword was created from the fang of an ancient dragon. Powered by the spirits of the Twelve Dragons it was used against the Dark Dragon and arch fiends by the founding members of the Dragon Lineage to which the Hayabusa Clan hold their lineage. It has sinced been passed down the bloodline through millenia, up till the present day where Ryu is its current wielder. The sword is constantly kept in its inert stage, in order to 'awaken' the blade the Eye of the Dragon jewel must be placed in its hilt, thusly becoming the True Dragon Sword. (more...)

Zack is a character that has been in the DOA series since the first game. Fighting the styles of Muay Thai, Zack is the only black character in the DOA series, until Lisa's appearance in Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball (and Dead or Alive 4, since that's her official start in the fighting series).
He plays little in the series as he only enters the tournaments for money and fame. He plays a huge role in the Dead or Alive Xtreme games as he is the owner of Zack Island and plays also plays a big role in Dead or Alive 4 when he saved Helena Douglas from the burning DOATEC building. Also in the canon story of Dead or Alive 4, he is the winner of the 4th tournament. (more...)

Pi Qua Quan (also known as Piguaquan) is a martial arts fighting style that was used by Helena Douglas. Due to its emphasis on palm techniques, is often practiced along with Baji Quan (八極拳, literally "eight extremes fist") and is a style of wushu (Chinese martial arts) that features explosive, long-range power. Dead or Alive: Xtreme 2 (DOAX2) is a video game for the Xbox 360 game console. Developed by Team Ninja, it is the sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Like its predecessor, DOAX2 is heavily weighted toward depicting busty women in skimpy bikinis both on and off the beach. The title expands upon the activities available in the original, supplementing beach volleyball with additional beach-related mini-games. (more...)

Helena Douglas is a character that debuted in Dead or Alive 2. Helena is an opera singer and the daughter to Fame Douglas, the head of the Dead or Alive Tournament Executive Committee (DOATEC), and Maria. Helena enters the tournament to find who killed her mother during her opera recital. In the end, it turned out to be Christie who assassinated her mother.
Helena Douglas relates to the whole Dead or Alive storyline because her father was the head of DOATEC and she affliated with the ninjas more than any character. She become the lead important character of Dead or Alive 4 when she took control of DOATEC.(more...)
