This article is for the musical theme "Father's blue" and its subsequent update.
Throughout the Dead or Alive series, "Father's blue" has been used as a theme for both Tina and Bass Armstrong.
Arcade version[]
The original "Father's blue" theme first appeared in the original arcade version of Dead or Alive 2. The theme was used for both Tina and Bass' Story Modes, and played during the scene when Bass finds a poster of Tina which he clearly shows disdain towards. It was also the second theme for Tina's ending.
Console version[]
"Father's blues" was later updated for the home console releases of Dead or Alive 2. Appearing in also the DOA2: Hardcore games and Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate.
The theme was once again used for both Tina and Bass' Story Modes, and played during the scene when Bass finds a poster of Tina which he clearly shows disdain towards. It was also the second theme for Tina's ending.
It is this version of the theme that has been used again throughout the series rather than the original arcade version.
