The following are the costumes available to Zack in all versions of Dead or Alive 2 (1999-2000), including the DOA2: Hardcore games.
Arcade versions[]
In the original arcade version and the Dead or Alive 2: Millennium update, Zack has a total of three costumes, which are available to him from the start.

Costume 2 - Green vest with two fastened up belts, black pants with green chaps, black-and-green sneakers, multiple earrings, and a pair of sunglasses. Costume 3 - Dressed as an alien. The costume consists of a silver chrome, full bodysuit with neon green cuffs, logo on his chest, and a hood with pointed ears and an antenna. He also wears matching gloves and boots, and a pair of bright pink sunglasses. (Originally his fourth costume from the Sega Saturn version of Dead or Alive.) |
Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 versions[]
For the Dreamcast versions and the Japanese PlayStation 2 version, Zack has three default costumes (later just two), and over time gains two new unlockable costumes.
On the Japanese Dreamcast version, there are four ways to get each costume. Two are quick but difficult to do, while the other two take time but are easy to complete. If the player uses the UPS options, the costumes will be saved to the UPS and not the system file. This means that if the system file is copied, the costumes will not be, as the UPS is not transferable.
SYS1: saved to system file, difficult
SYS2: saved to system file, easy

UPS2: saved to UPS file, easy
