The following are the costumes available to Kasumi in all versions of the first Dead or Alive (1996-98).

Arcade version[]

In the original arcade release, all of the characters have 3 different costumes which are available from the start.

For Kasumi, she has 3 different shinobi-style costumes.

DOA1 Kasumi C3 Arc Costume 3 - Sleeveless shirt with straps and fishnet covering her cleavage, puffy pants, armored shoes, a pink sash, hand-guards with metal wristbands, matching armbands on her biceps, and a choker.

For Kasumi's hair, the color has changed to bluish black, and has it tied into a ponytail with a hair tie.

Sega Saturn version[]

In the Sega Saturn version, Kasumi now has 9 different costumes, with her arcade costumes now being her default costumes, and 6 brand new costumes which are unlockable.

For her new costumes, Kasumi has 3 sailor fuku which are same in design but each have their own theme color, a rabbit suit, and 2 casual street costumes, with both having shortalls.

PlayStation versions[]

In all versions of the PlayStation remake, Kasumi now has 14 different costumes, with 3 being default and eleven being unlockable.

For the PlayStation remake, the summer sailor fuku has been replaced by a navy blue sailor fuku.

Other new costumes include a color swap of costume 3, two Japanese school gym uniforms, a sukumizu (school swimsuit), and an angel costume.

  • Costumes 1 and 2 (excluding Dead or Alive++) have the kanji for "Eighteenth generation of Tenshin-style: Kasumi" (天神流第十八代目霞 Tenshin-ryū dai jūhachi-daime: Kasumi).
    • For Dead or Alive++, only the first costume has the kanji.
  • Kasumi, along with Lei Fang, have the most amount of unlockable and total costumes in the Sega Saturn version, with each having 6 unlockable and 9 in total.
    • She, along with the other female characters, also have the most amount of unlockable and total costumes in the Japanese and North American PlayStation versions, with each having 11 unlockable and fourteen in total.
