Dead or Alive, also known as Arrival, is a stage that appears in Dead or Alive 5.
Story[]
The sight of the fifth tournament. As per the beginning of the events of 5's story mode, Helena restored DOATEC and held the fifth tournament, sending Zack to recruit fighters to partake. Kokoro, Hitomi, Leifang, Jann Lee, Eliot, Mila, Tina, and Bass (disguised as "Mr. Strong") all entered. In the end Jann won the tournament with Hitomi as the runner-up. Jann disappeared before Zack could officially crown him champion. The tournament was also notable as marking the debut of Honoka, who during the second match of the fifth division of the Asian block's quarterfinals accidentally used her powers on Thomas Blake, her challenger, which got her disqualified (though she had no memory of the incident), which ultimately caused her problems later on (i.e. during 6's story mode).
Description[]
Dead or Alive[]
It is a large fighting ring lined with electrical ropes which act as a normal danger zone. Large spotlights shine on the surface. The brawlers' names and bio can be seen on two screens on either side of the main screen, which displays the actual fight.
This acts as the stage that holds the actual tournament in the story. The massive crowd cheers as the fighting goes on.
Arrival[]
It is virtually identical to the Dead or Alive stage, with the only differences being the time of day and the overall background. The size of the stage is fairly large, and there are no danger zones, making it useful for competitive matches.
The overall background appears to be an oil rig during a misty day. The area is walled, but the ample space makes it easy to avoid the railing.
Alternate options[]

Non-Dead or Alive appearances[]
Dead or Alive appears in Koei's hack-'n-slash game Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate. It is available as Kasumi's collaboration stage and in the game's Duel Mode. In this mode, players combat each other in an arena in teams of 3 vs. 3, like a fighting game.
