Ii Style Leg Strikes is a martial art exclusive to Naotora Ii. It seems mostly comprised of powerful and multi-level kicking attacks that both do impressive damage, and have easy-to-perform commands from attack strings. Despite the name, some of Naotora's other moves involve use of her hands (in punches, or slaps), and her buttocks including her Nemu (合歓, lit. "Silk Tree"), Warabi (蕨, lit. "Bracken"), and her throw Tsukiyo-Usagi (月夜兎, lit. "Moonlit Rabbit"). Her Shirayuki-Usagi (白雪兎, lit. "White Snow Rabbit") involves her falling on her opponents' faces.

Some of the moves appear to have magical properties as well. For example, Naotora's Yamabuki (山吹, lit. "Mountain Blast") and Yuzuruha (弓絃葉, lit. "Bowstring Leaf") strikes produce a small cyclone that lifts the opponent upward, her Sakura-Bana (桜花, lit. "Cherry-blossom"), Tama-Bahaki (玉掃, lit. "Jade Sweep"), and Murasaki (紫草, Murasaki-gusa, lit. "Purple Herb") strikes create sakura petals (her Sakura-Bana also ends with her shooting a magical pink torrent of energy at her opponent), her Ii Family Creed (井伊家家訓!, Ii-ke kakun!) stance produces what appears to be a wind-like aura, and her Musou Attack (無双奥義, Musō Ōgi) Power Blow has her shoot crescent-shaped energy bolts while simultaneously striking her opponent with kicks.

Trivia[]

  • Save for some of her attacks, Naotora's fighting style emphasizes use of the lower body (her legs and buttocks).
  • Naotora borrows select moves from certain other fighters such as Marie Rose, Zack and Lisa. This is likely done to compensate for her lack of original based moves but the properties of the borrowed attacks are adjusted for her accordingly such as range and speed.
  • Many of her attacks have originated from Samurai Warriors 4.
    • However, the moves she uses that utilize her buttocks were never used at all in the Samurai Warriors series.
