Tag Battle Mode

Tag Battle Mode is a fighting mode in the DOA series. The mode started in Dead or Alive 2, allowing the player to choose two characters, and fight in either five stages against the computers, or play a 2-on-2 battle with friends. Only one character is on-screen fighting at one time, while the other, off-screen, slowly regenerates health. If fighting the computer, they will also be using two characters.
Certain characters are 'intended' to be tag team partners, such as Helena and Christie, and as such have special tag team throws.
Tag Battles can only be fought in arena-type stages.
